Tool TV™ is the nation's only television program that focuses exclusively on the tools used in the construction, building and woodworking trades. The program is not about re-habbing, room additions, woodcraft or waterproofing the attic. Tool TV™ is about the tools that are used in these endeavors.

Each program is hosted by Dwight "The Tool Man" Sherman, President of Berland's House of Tools — the biggest, baddest MOST AMAZING TOOL STORE ON THE PLANET! Every half-hour episode features The Tool Man telling us "what's to like" about 20 different tools found at Berland's. Viewers often see tools prior to their general market distribution; some are even prototypes. The Tool Man points out new features on each tool and often provides an industry perspective or brief history of the tool or tool category. Sometimes inventors or product managers join the show to explain what makes the tool tick.

But a show about tools can't be all talk, so The Tool Man usually turns on the tool and pounds or cuts or drills some material while the production crew lets loose with whoops of encouragement. Oh Yeah!!

Let me tell you a couple of more things about Tool TV™. It's always shot on location — at Chicago area construction sites, woodshops, factories, trade shows or from the showroom floor of Berland's House of Tools. There is usually a caveman somewhere in the show, and there have also been cavewomen, Tool Babes, Tool Nuts, the Tool Nut Widow, Santa Clause and his lovely intern, a fake holiday dwarf, amateur dancers and a wide assortment of other characters.
