Hey - What's a Fortnight?
fort·night
(Fort"night`), n.
A period of 14 days; two weeks.
Source: The American
Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth
Edition.
Most commonly thought of as being used
in the works of Shakespeare, the word "fortnight"
is often overlooked in today's society. But Berland's
House of Tools is changing that!
When redesigning the website, we thought
that adding a section on the website featuring one of
our 25,000 tools would be a great idea. The only factor
to determine was the frequency that the featured tool
would change. Should we use a month, a week, a year?
And then it struck us. Fortnight.
What an underused measurement of time! It was decided
- and now we are proud to bring you "Tool of the
Fortnight," a berlandtools.com special.
